Due to legislation & food quality, an increasing number of customers are asking for guaranteed low temperature in all ambient conditions.

Historically, a vans specifation was based on price, but now with customers attention being on temperature due to food legislation and pharmaceutical GDP etc., the focus is now on product quality rather than price.

Based on the above, we converted a Mercedes Sprinter using a 75mm high grade insulation kit with slab rear doors on the specification required of -25. During testing, this vehicle reached temperatures of -30.

Using this higher grade insulation means the fridge runs less, which reduces the vehicles running costs and also minimises the maintenance costs on the refrigeration unit.

This conversion has generated a lot of interest within our customer base.
